Sonic Seedpod season 3 is in the can
Sonic Seedpod season 3 filming wrapped up this past weekend with one final in-studio performance before we take a break for the summer.
During the summer months, our home at the West Bend Music Academy is taken over by music students in the Summer Rock Band program, and we couldn’t be happier to get out of the way and let kids make music.
Just because we won’t be in the studio, however, doesn’t mean we won’t be doing things.

Guitar Town Music Festival
On Saturday, June 13th Waukesha will hold the inaugural Guitar Town Music Festival celebrating the “Wizard of Waukesha,” Les Paul - you know, the guy who invented the solid body electric guitar and multi-track recording. We may not be able to make it, but we’re telling you because it’s going to be great and you should check it out for the live music, food, exhibits, instrument “petting zoo,” Les Paul Heritage tour and more.
Milwaukee Metal Fest
We’ll be there on Friday, June 5th for the return of Acid Bath to Milwaukee after nearly 30 years. Watch our interview with Milwaukee Metal Fest founder Jack Koshick about the rise, fall, and resurrection of the festival that made Wisconsin the mecca of metal:
Summerfest
We’ll be at Summerfest on June 20th when Sonic Seedpod host Steve Madsen’s band American Progress plays the Miller Lite Oasis stage (at 2:45pm) and you’ll find VOYD founder Jay Tamez at the WAMI stage every day.
You’ll also be able to catch at least a few of the bands we’ve had the pleasure of featuring on Sonic Seedpod performing live at Summerfest. We’ll have more on that when we get closer.
